Community Comes First

Since 1997, Sun Holdings Inc. has grown exponentially and is now the 8th largest restaurant franchise owner in the United States. That success did not come overnight; it took years of community involvement and responsibilities to give back to the community. In 2014, Sun Holdings Inc.'s Golden Corral franchises gave 15,000 free meals to veterans.

Sun Holdings Inc. did not make this decision for the benefits of media attention, they saw it as a necessary act. Sun Holdings, Inc. is a restaurant franchise owner company that owns over 400 locations in four separate states. The franchises they own includes Burger King, Arby's, Popeye's, Krispy Kreme, Cici's Pizza, Golden Corral, and various restaurants in different airports.

Sun Holdings, Inc. has taken full advantage of those opportunities, and in correlation with plans to obtain more franchises; they plan to continue to do good for others.

Additionally in 2014, Sun Holdings, Inc. gave away over 4 million free kids meals. All of Sun Holdings, Inc.'s franchises took part in this deed. There is a disproportionate population in the United States who live below the poverty line and consist of families with children, who struggle to put food on the table. Giving to families in need is a necessary act that more large corporations should take part in. Sun Holdings, Inc., gladly uses its resources to provide necessary food to growing children.
Guillermo Perales, of Irving, Texas, is a Hispanic Entrepreneur and the President and CEO of Sun Holdings, Inc. When he is not overseeing the operations of over 400 franchise locations in four separate states he is spending quality time with his family and devoting himself to his community. Guillermo also enjoys playing golf and running and other fitness activities to stay in shape.
