Guillermo Perales, one of the largest entrepreneurs in the Dallas area, is a Texas
A&M graduate. He came to Texas A&M for graduate school and earned a
Master of Business Administration (MBA). Guillermo Perales has great praise for
his program at Texas A&M. He recalls, “I was really challenged at Texas
A&M to think critically about all aspects of business. When I graduated, I
was ready to do business in the real world. I also developed a great network of
friends and colleagues at Texas A&M. On a personal note, I was new to the United States
when I started this program, and everyone was very kind and welcoming.”
After earning his MBA, Guillermo Perales
went on to become of the largest franchise owners in the country. He is the
owner of Sun Holdings, LLC, which owns franchises of service industry companies
across the United States.
It’s not possible to list all his awards and accolades here, but Sun Holdings
has been repeatedly recognized as a fast-growing company with excellent service
and employment records. Like many Texas A&M graduates, Guillermo Perales
emphasizes service and giving back to the community in his work. Sun Holdings
employees gave over 1,500 community service hours to Dallas organizations last year alone. The
company is also a leader in corporate philanthropy. Guillermo Perales has
served on the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and sits on the board of community
organizations like schools, mentorship programs, and non-governmental
organizations.
Guillermo remains active in the Texas A&M alumni
community. He loves to attend class reunions and catch up with his former
classmates. He and his wife recently hosted a meet and greet for potential
Texas A&M Master of Business Administration students. At the event,
Guillermo Perales was pleased to meet several students with great potential as
entrepreneurs. He always welcomes questions from students who are considering
pursuing an MBA.
