pursued his undergraduate education from the Monterrey Institute of Technology
and Higher Education before immigrating to the United States of America. Once
he arrived, he enrolled in the prestigious university, Texas A&M in order to
obtain his Master’s degree in business administration. His education paved the
way for his success in the restaurant franchise industry, and it provided him
with the skills necessary to become the largest Latino franchise operator in
the country. He founded Sun Holding, Inc in 1997 after opening his first Golden
Corral restaurant, and he knew he was ready for success. In just 17 years of
operation, Guillermo was able to generate an annual growth rate of 50 percent
for his company, and create a business portfolio consisting of over 400
restaurant locations in four states. He has been recognized for numerous
accomplishments within the industry, as well as his philanthropic involvement
in his community. He is also a member of various organizations dealing with both
business and community betterment. In the year of 2014, Sun Holdings was ranked
7th multi unit brand by Multi Unit Franchisee Magazine, and 1st
largest North Texas Hispanic owned buinsess and largest North Texas minority
owned business by the Dallas Business Journal.

people around him. He owns a number restaurant locations for the chains, Burger
King, Popeye’s, Golden Corral, Cici’s Pizza, Arby’s, Krispy Kreme, T-Mobile,
and many more. Guillermo Perales is also heavily involved in airport
development and hopes to open many of his restaurant chains in new airport
